What is the average daily rental rate on a 19′ scissor? What brands do you carry?

Jason,
Average daily rates on a 19 can vary depending on style, but for the most part you can figure the lift rental itself to be in the $100 range. We carry three manufacturers of lifts: Genie Scissor Lifts, JLG Scissor Lifts, & SkyJack Scissor lifts. Feel free to give us a call at 888-477-7687 if you have any other questions, or to make a reservation!
Thanks,
Joe

Do you need a license to operate the bigger lifts? Can they be used on my property in a residential area?

Tim,
There is no specific “license” required, however training with the type of lift you are intending to use is always recommended. There are times when jobsite safety programs will specifically require a certain level of operator training before operating equipment on their sites. OSHA outlines some basic safety recommendations and requirements here: http://www.osha.gov/OshDoc/data_Hurricane_Facts/aerial_lifts.pdf . Depending on the project, we carry a variety of lifts (available at each location: Crystal Lake, East Dundee, and Marengo) to take care of everything from tree trimming to working in a warehouse. Give GRS Rents a call at 888-477-7687 if you have any other questions or to place an order.
Thanks!
